What is decoStick molds line
The decosil decoStick® line, born from an idea by Gabriele Bozio Dalmastro, offers pastry chefs, bartenders, and restaurateurs food-grade silicone molds that allow them to quickly create original sugar and chocolate lollipops or street-food appetizers or geometric subjects or shapes supported by sticks to obtain snacks or desserts to take on the go or on a plate.
Decostick molds can be used with:
- liquid products: chocolate, sugar, mousse, Bavarian cream, ice lollies
- pasty products: ice cream, marzipan, fruit jellies, meat or fish tartare, cream cheese, vegetarian dough.
The decoStick® mold is made of food-grade silicone and is composed of two parts:
- a soft translucent silicone base
- a removable closing band in more rigid black silicone that gives greater stability to the mold.
The band blocks and firmly supports the stick and allows you to fill the mold even with pasty products without the stick moving, prevents the leakage of liquid materials and allows you to extract the subjects from the mold with extreme ease without deforming them.
In the lower part of the decoStick® mold there are partial slits that allow faster cooling of the dough in the blast chiller.

Technical details
The decoStick® moulds are designed to be positioned on Euronorm trays (60x40) which can hold a maximum of 4 pieces, leaving the necessary space for processing and to allow adequate air circulation during the cooling phases.
For operators in the sector who use GN (Gastronorm) trays, it is instead possible to position a maximum of two decoStick® moulds.
In the stabilisation phases of the product inserted in the mould for correct extraction (complete crystallisation for chocolate or freezing for other products) the external surface of the mould is exposed to contact with the air, static if positioned at room temperature or in the refrigerator, or dynamic if positioned in machinery for rapid lowering of the temperature such as blast chillers; for this reason it is recommended to use grids or perforated trays as a support for the decoStick® moulds in the various processing phases.
To increase the contact surface with the air during the cooling phases, the decoStick® line of molds is equipped with special slots in the lower part that will allow the molds, if correctly positioned on grids or perforated trays, to better dissipate heat.
Each mold of the decoStick® line is made up of 2 parts functionally designed and made with two different silicones to optimize the yield during processing.
The base, in clear silicone, is designed to be stable during the processing phases but ductile and elastic during the product extraction phases.
The stop, made of dark silicone, has special joints that allow for quick and intuitive positioning as well as perfect adherence to the base.
